Dr. Silfa completed his three-year post-graduate residency from 2009-2012 at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and spent the next year as a Chief Resident at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Silfa earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Universidad Central del Este in the Dominican Republic in 2003. While there, he was involved in extensive research studying the relationship between cardiovascular disease and gum disease.
He has remained up-to-date on the latest developments in his field including those in cosmetics, Invisalign, and implant dentistry. He also remains active in the dental community as a member of the American Dental Association.
